How can I pass a XML object down with the VXML

I would like to pass down a data object of type XML DOM with the initial VoiceXML. This would be the same data type that is passed back on a <data> web service call. Rather than fetch the voice XML then turn around and fetch the initial XML data Object I want to pass the initial XML data object down...

What is a linefailure callee type?

Over the past few months of call campaigns I have had 412 calls result in a linefailure callee type. If I call these numbers myself I reach someone. So what is a linefailure?

Thanks

Response time delay and log research

One of our clients submitted a batch of 400 calls today (7/11). Actually each call is submitted individually so that we can have better control over the retry process. A limit of 25 concurrent calls are submitted at a time to prevent too many calls from being concurrently processed and overwhelming ...

Re: informationtone callee type

Thanks for the reply that explains a lot and gives me some insight to some interesting tricks. But a follow up questions. The 8 defined codes are noted by tone length and frequency. In the case of the first 6 I would pretty much give up the call. However in the case of the last two a reattempt a few...

However the callee type of informationtone I have no guess as to what that can mean. I would not have worried to much about it but w...

Re: With callee detection turned off I still get dead silenc

Yes, we experienced several calls while attempting to take customer live that had up to 30 seconds of dead silence before starting the message. Of course we knew it was the system calling us so we stayed on the line until it played. As I’m sure you would also expect most people receiving a phone cal...

With callee detection turned off I still get dead silence

We have opted to turn off callee detection because of its issues, not worth getting into them so let’s just leave it at that. The idea here is that as soon as the call connects we want to fetch the VoiceXML from our server to process the call. Actually I would like it to fetch the VoiceXML before th...
