Email Notification

Good afternoon, Say I receive an error on a page (i.e. error.noresource or error.badfetch) and I want to be emailed when we receive this error, so I can quickly go out and retrieve the current entire log file(remember, we get hundreds of calls a day so we need to grab the log file ASAP). How would I...

Receiving error.noresource which causes a lost a recording

Good evening, We seem to be receiving an error.noresource error when a user is right in the middle of recording. The major issue is that we are losing their recording once this error happens. So, my question is how do I handle this error correctly, so I can still save their recording. Attached is th...

Thanks for the reply. According to my log files, the user is recording in that vxml file that I sent you and then all of a sudden then go into the <error> code. They do not hit any dtmf keys or else that would show in the log file, as you can see by my code. As yes, this seems to be very random and ...

Ok. Thanks. Please keep me posted on what you find as to why we had calls enter our <error> handling but no errors appeared in the Plum log. Thanks.

Good afternoon, I was doing a search within the support area and saw somebody had some code with I think is what I would need to show the error and error description: <error> <log label="IVB_HISTORY"><value expr="'ERROR EVENT='+ _event + ' MESSAGE=' +_message"/></log> <exit /> </error> Wouldn't this...

Please keep in mind that this happens sporatically. We'll go a couple days/weeks without seeing the error and then it will happen 3-4 times in one day.

One additional item to note. Not only did the user enter my GENERAL <error> routine, but the recording(initial_recording) was UNDEFINED so nothing was saved from this 10 minute recording. This is what makes this issue extremely critical. Thx.

So, the user gets into this vxml page when then want to create a recording. Here is the entire vxml page: <?xml version="1.0"?> <vxml version="2.1" application="root.xml"> <!--#include file="clsXMLConstants.asp"--> <!--#include file="clsXMLDatabase.asp"--> <!--#include file="clsXMLSessionManager.asp...

I agree it is strange that the user reached the <error> code but an error never appeared in the Plum error log. I will post the description tomorrow, since it will take some time to write up. In the meantime, could you please please please show me how to write out the error description. This is crit...

So, when I use the <log> tag, how do I show the description of the error? I don't know the syntax to show the error description and couldn't find it anywhere in the documentation. Can you please provide an example? Thx.

Basically, if my application enters the <error> tag, I want to get information on what that error is.
