Getting Plum to generate a "Ringback" during call

Post by mindshare »

Hi all,

I am trying to get Plum to generate a "ringback" before it begins the call. We collect 17 digits at the beginning which takes 2+ seconds so I'd like the user to hear a ring while that is occuring.

I am on a CAS T-1 line with E&M wink. I modify the pdk_us_mf_io.cdp file and change the CDP_In_EnableRingBack to true (1) but Plum doesn't answer (waiting for variable). In the Global Call protocal is says that the gc_AcceptCall or gc_AnserCall determins the number of rings to pass into this parameter.

My guess is that this variable is in Plum as Plum answers the call and does all the other stuff before it begins. Can Plum be set to generate a Ring?

Thanks,

John Sperry
