Outbound call does not understand Answering M/c

Outbound call does not understand Answering M/c.

For example if outboud call start_url has the interactive VXML and when makes the call it goes to answering system and asks answering system to enter keys. Please let me know how do I detect is an answering system.

In my experience the only truely reliable way of ensuring you are talking to a human being is to ask them.

For example, if you start your dialogue with "Press any key to hear the message" and don't get a response then you would be best to assume a machine has answered and run your dialogue accordingly.
