Voice recognition form an HTML Page

Post by lorenzon »

Dear Plum Support,
I need to create an html page that using the Plum platform give a voice recognition functionality.
In particular I need:
- during the Page load, the sentences to recognize will be set
- when the user click on an element of the page he says the sentence and the page will show a message showing if the sentence said is the correct one or not

It is possible?
I can use ASP o ASPX technology to do it?

Thank a lot
Andrea

no HTML component to the Plum VoiceXML IVR Platform

The Plum IVR platform is a VoiceXML parser that interacts with users calling over a telephone. There is no HTML component to the Plum VoiceXML Platform.

In fact, the capabilities you describe don't even exist in HTML. I would recommend doing some research on the Internet for voice recognition software vendors (like Nuance and IBM and even Apple) who can provide you with a desktop API to their speech recognition engines.
