Detection of Cell Phone versus Land Line

Can the system detect the difference between a cell phone and a land line? If so, can this information be passed to us for reporting purposes? Healthcare users require written consent before a cell phone can be used for IVR purposes therefore Healthcare providers must be able to distinguish between cell numbers and land lines.

No, there is no way for the IVR to differentiate a call from a cell phone versus a land line.
