Invalid data returned in Call-data Log

Post by ScottJmu91 »

We are using the following URL to get PlumVoice call data,

http://hosting.plumgroup.com/ws/logs/se ... 1373414399

Where 1373328000 represents Unix Timestamp Start Date parameter (07/09/2013 12:00:00 AM)

and 1373414399 represents Unix Timestamp End Data parameter (07/09/2013 11:59:59 PM)

This should return all call data logs for the July 9, 2013 for this account, however this is also returning July 8, 2013 records.
For example, this is the starting three rows.

1373328000
1373414399
outbound XXXXXXXXX 26 [08/Jul/2013:21:44:44 -0500] XXXXXXXX 000032;026;1373328373 1373334284 1373334317 0:33

Hi,

The UNIX timestamps you provided represent time in the GMT timezone, from the time range of 07/09/2013 12:00:00 AM GMT to 07/09/2013 11:59:99 PM GMT.

Please note that our system timestamps are in EST (-0500). Thus, the reason why you are seeing that July 8 record is because when 07/08/2013 09:44:44 PM EST is converted to GMT, it comes out to 07/09/2013 02:44:44 AM GMT, which falls under the time range you have specified. If you wish to generate logs for a specific day in a certain timezone, please make sure to make the proper adjustments to the UNIX timestamps to account for the EST timezone difference.

Regards,
Plum Support
