Link to Voicemail - SNAG

In short, we have 2 issues:

1) We can't test anymore and move forward. This message is shown "This survey belongs to a demo account that has reached its maximum number of respondents. Your answers will not be saved."

2) As you can see it is imperative that we be able to retrieve the actual hyperlink, as the 'download' process that your support team wants us to do will not be able to relate to anything in our database, because there is NO unique identifier. It is important that we have the link.

Please respond asap.

IVR demo account error- user used allotted # of responses

Post by support »

1) The reason you receive the message, "This survey belongs to a demo account that has reached its maximum number of respondents. Your answers will not be saved.", is because you had gone over the allotted number of responses allowed for an IVR demo account (100),

2) To uniquely identify your IVR audio files to IVR call respondents, you can download your responses in Excel/CSV format. Once you open up the spreadsheet file, there will be file link names that match the names of the IVR audio files that you have downloaded. This will allow you to see which IVR audio files went with each respondent.

As explained from this documentation, http://surveys.plumvoice.com/admin/docs ... _Responses

"If you open up the zip file, notice that the naming of your audio files corresponds to the <file:###-###.wav> tokens in the CSV response data."

I really can't believe that we are having this much trouble getting the information from you and the system.

WE GET the ability to download the audio responses...no issues there.

Here is the walk through.

1) caller calls into the survey
2) answers all questions
3) leaves a voicemail message
4) call ends
5) Our webservice which you provided an example for, updates OUR database.
6) a unique file is generated on PlumVoice for the file attachement of the voicemail
7) No unique identifier that would relate to ANY DOWNLOADED FILE exists in our database from the first 5 steps, so that we can build a hyperlink to or relate any downloaded to identify the the voice filename.

Understand?

IVR support does not encourage hotlinking of recordings

Post by support »

If your IVR webservice returned a unique ID, you would be able to search the CSV for this ID, find the filenames in this row, and correlate those IVR files in the downloaded ZIP with your saved data.

IVR support does not encourage hotlinking of recordings. You should be saving the IVR audio files for your own usage.
