Launching Campaign and Callback Intervals

Post by gregoryclark »

Greetings!
I have a couple of questions regarding callback intervals and campaigns. First, do you have to launch a campaign in order to program some type of callback/retry interval? WE are launching using contact sample from an external source and will not be loading client contact info into plumvoice itself. Will we still have to launch a corresponding campaign in order to have a retry callback? If we do not launch a campaign directly through plumvoice but use plumvoice as our IVR platform, will the system attempt to call clients back or will it only try once? Can we deploy a full campaign launch without launching a campaign through the plumvoice platform, or must we launch a campaign with empty data to correspond to our campaign?

Thank you!

Hi Greg,

We're not sure what you had meant when you mentioned:

"Can we deploy a full campaign launch without launching a campaign through the plumvoice platform, or must we launch a campaign with empty data to correspond to our campaign?"

For Plum Survey, there is documentation on how you can launch an outbound survey campaign here: http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/docs/ ... a_Campaign

However, if you're not going to be importing contact info into the Plum Survey site, you can use our Plum outbound platform. Documentation on how to use our outbound platform can be found in the following links (along with documentation on the number of retries you can set and the retry interval):

http://www.plumvoice.com/docs/dev/plumd ... boundguide
http://www.plumvoice.com/docs/dev/plumd ... nddevguide
http://www.plumvoice.com/docs/dev/plumd ... rreference

Also, if you're looking to set the start URL for your outbound campaign from a survey you've created within Plum Survey, here are the instructions on how you would obtain it:

1) Log into Plum Survey (http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/login.php).
2) For the survey that you want to start an outbound campaign for, make sure it is in Testing stage (http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/docs/ ... y_by_Phone) or Deployed stage (http://survey.plumvoice.com/admin/docs/ ... _and_Phone)
3) Assign your survey to one of your phone numbers.
4) Log into Plum Hosting (http://hosting.plumgroup.com/login.php).
5) Click on the Applications header.
6) For the phone number that you've assigned your survey to, you'll want to copy the Application URL tied to that phone number to use as the start URL for your outbound campaign.

Regards,
