Plum IVR Support

I have a friend who does voice-overs professionally. There is a concern that her equipment won't do the tiny files we need. What are the optimal settings to sound good but be small? The samples she sent me are way too big.

For voice talent that we use for our IVR applications, we typically tell them to save the audio files as 8 khz, 16-bit linear mono, RIFF.
