Is it possible to pass a value directly into a simple table, creating a new row, with a simple post or get rather than having to have a separate csv file uploaded?

Yes, it is possible for you to pass a value directly into the simple table. If you want to only insert one row, you can use a one row CSV.

By setting the mode to merge mode, you would be able to insert data from your CSV file into your simple table.
