Missing "Beep"

We have set up our IVR survey with a series of Open-Ended questions, we've tested it repeatedly and found that the open-end comments do NOT always play a beep, prompting our customer to leave their comment. This happens on different questions, at different points in the survey, but is different each time we test. It seems to be random. How do we ensure there is ALWAYS a beep after the open-ended question?

Hello,

The beep is always set to default to be played after the question. However, if you have any of your questions set to "Allow Bargein: Yes" this will allow the caller to interrupt the question immediately prompting for response without any notion of a beep. Please check through the questions you have set up and make sure "Allow Bargein: " is set to No.

We're familiar with the "allow Bargein" option. We do not have this checked on any of our questions. We've had 4 different people test the survey and each reports on some questions there is not a beep. Although it seems to be random as to which question... meaning sometimes a question has a beep and sometimes it doesn't. Any thoughts as to what could be causing this?

We have identified a platform bug that may have been causing the missing "beep" issue you were recently having. We have implemented a fix for this. Please let us know if you are still having this issue or have any other questions.
