Hello guys, our clients are complaining about a delay that occurs in our application after a selection is made.
In our application, there is a menu which the user uses to select 1 of 3 characters. When they choose this character, they talk, but they complain there is a gap between the user selection and the character speach.
Is it possible to reduce this delay time? or play something by the time?

Change interdigittimeout property in IVR app to fix delay
Hi,
Do you have the IVR property, "interdigittimeout", set in your IVR application? If you set the value of "interdigittimeout" too high, this could be causing the delay that the user hears. I would recommend setting this value to around 100 ms to reduce the delay, since it appears that the user is only entering a single-digit for the menu choice.
