Record call when call is transferred outside

Post by RVPlumVoice »

I am looking for a solution in IVR that will enable me to record audio between two persons, for example, User A calls to IVR server and wants to contact the support person. So he presses the desired number and the call is then transferred to that help person.

Now here is what I want to know. When the call is connected between the User A and the support, is this possible that support person can use DTMF to record a specific part of the conversation? I don't want to record complete conversation that I hope is possible right now in your system. Also when support person Press 1, the call is being recorded and Pressing 2 Stops the recording. In the same session the Support wants to playback that recording to User A. So he presses 3. Pressing 4 will pause the recording. Pressing 5 stops it. After the phone call is hanged that recording is saved on somewhere on server. like other recording are saved.

Hi,

Sorry, but this implementation is not possible. Once the transfer is connected between User A and support, it is not possible to enter a DTMF input to record a specific part of the transfer call.

However, there is an option that will allow you to record specific parts of the IVR call. You can use the "recordcall" property. For more information about this IVR property, please see here: http://www.plumvoice.com/docs/dev/voice ... recordcall
