Strange behavior of the Application

Post by shanthint@paydq.com »

Hello,

We have upgraded the plum voice software recently for our on-site system.
After the upgrade we are experiencing some strange behaviors in the application.
Issues:
1. Call got stuck in loop and gets disconnected.
2. I have seen only one error in the error log:
missing ; before statement line 1
SyntaxError: missing ; before statement line 1

The application worked fine without any problems before the upgrade.

These are not happening all the time. But it happens alteast once a day.

Another important thing is , we can't recreate any of these issues.
Since we can't access the call logs, I can't determine the cause for these issues.
It is an emergency. I have to resolve this immediately.
Please give me any clue where to start to debug these issues.

Thank you,

syntax error causing IVR issue

Post by support »

Hi,

Since the IVR error seems to be syntax related, you could try validating your IVR code on your hosting account to see where the IVR error is.

Also, if you happen to find where you think the IVR error is occurring, you could paste that snippet of IVR code here and we can take a look at it.

I am not sure the call dropping error is syntax error. becuase it is not occured in one particular place. It is in random places.

For IVR system related issues such as IVR call dropping, you should send an e-mail to support@plumvoice.com with your IVR customer ID in the subject line that explains the IVR issue and how it is occurring.

The customer ID would be found in your support contract with Plum. If you do not yet have a support contract with Plum, you should contact your sales representative regarding this IVR issue.
