Hi all,

I have .wav audio file(it can be of any audio format) that i m converting through sox.exe to make that audio file with audio format compatible on Plum Voice Portal so that it can be played on plum, but it's not getting played.

One thing, audio file after conversion has audio format of CCITT ulaw and 8KHz sampling rate.
I want to confirm whether plum supports audio files of this audio format(CCITT ulaw, CCITT alaw).

If not supported, then please help with options of sox.exe to convert .wav audio file into plum supported audio format.

Thanking you.

Hi,

Just to confirm, is your audio file in one of the following formats?

* 8 kHz 16-bit linear PCM headerless (*.l16)
* 8 kHz 8-bit µ-law encoded headerless (*.ul)
* 8 kHz 8-bit a-law encoded headerless (*.al)
* 8 kHz 16-bit linear PCM WAV (*.wav)
* 8 kHz 8-bit µ-law WAV (*.wav)
* 8 kHz 8-bit a-law WAV (*.wav)
* MP3 (*.mp3) - Note: If the audio file is poorly encoded, the mp3 will not work.

If so, could you please send us a copy of your .wav audio file so that we may try to reproduce this IVR error you are experiencing?

You could e-mail us the file at support@plumvoice.com. Please make sure that you include your customer ID in the subject line of the e-mail. You can find this customer ID in your support contract with Plum. If you do not yet have a support contract with Plum, please contact your sales representative.
