Is it possible to mask the caller ID and use a different number such as MY business telephone number?

Yes, it is possible to do this.
You can set the phone_number parameter to something like the following IVR example:
<phone_number>tel:1617xxxxxxx;ani=XXX245XXXX</phone_number>
when setting up your IVR outbound call and this should allow you to mask your caller ID.
