Call Log Accumulation

We host our own IVR so the only reporting option we have is to parse through call logs. I will need to accumulate call logs so i can get monthly stats e.t.c.
Does it only keep the last log?
If not, Where are the call log files kept?
We are in a windows environment so i'm going to need to automate the collection of call logs, is it possible to automate the collection of these call logs?
