using https for the urls

Is there anything special that needs to be done in order to use the secure service https for a url for the IVR or on a <data> tag?

No, nothing special needs to be done in order to use the secure service https for a url for the IVR service. You only need to specify https in the src attribute. The Plum IVR system handles this case automatically.
