We are having trouble with the say-as type="acronym" when switching to Spanish. This works correctly in English. Please advise.

Code: Select all

          <prompt>
          <voice xml:lang="es_us" name="rosa">
          <prosody rate="-20%">
            <say-as type="acronym">
                <value expr="AcctNum" />
            </say-as>
          </prosody>
          </voice>
          </prompt>

Hi,

Please note that acronym only works for US English voices when using AT&T Natural Voices or Cepstral. For Spanish, you will need to insert spaces between the numbers to say them as digits, as suggested in this earlier post: http://support.plumgroup.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1627
