I am calling an API that sends & receives data in JSON format using the <data> tag.
How can I set request headers without using PHP or any scripting language?

Setting request headers without the use of a scripting language is not supported in our current release, but will be included in our upcoming release. We understand that you are working with your account manager on this issue, please look forward to a response with them.
