Hello,
My testing script was working fine untill plum disabled my US Local number and issued me with a UK London number. since then the my script hasn't been working as before.

Problem 1
=======
I was using "<voice name="claire"> " to make my script use a Female voice instead of the default male voice. It was working fine before my test number was changed to UK london number but now it is back to the default male voice. i dont know how to change it to female voice.

Problem 2 (Words spelling)
=======
The plum UK server keeps spelling the worlds from database rather than spoking them. Example: John Doe is being spelled as J o h n D o e instead of John Doe. How can that be rectify on the UK Hosting Platform. The spelling error wasn't there in the US Hosting Platform.

Problem 3
=======
Occasionally the "<property name="inputmodes" value="dtmf"/>" keeps failing. The script keep detecting Speech instead of DTMF Input only.

All this errors started with the UK Hosting platform. Please how do i rectify them.

please urgent help needed.

UK IVR servers currently use a different TTS engine than US

The UK IVR servers currently use a different TTS engine than the US servers. The choices are as follows:

Callie "en-us"
David "en-us"
Diane "en-us"
Lawrence "en-uk"
Millie "en-uk"
William "en-us

As for the spelling issue, can you post the snippet from an IVR call log which includes the SSML sent to the TTS engine where "John Doe" is being spelled rather than read? That will help us in attempting to replicate the IVR problem. One of the behaviors of the TTS engine in the UK is that any text that's written in all caps will be read out as an acronym.

As for the last problem, can you please post some IVR code so we can attempt to replicate the IVR problem in our lab?

Do You have french TTS for uk?

Is a French TTS voice available in UK?
Would using xml:lang="fr_fr" in conjunction with name achieve this?
Can I achieve the above using a globally using <property> tags

Hello,

Unfortunately we do not currently have any French/French voices on the IVR systems in the UK. However, you can use the Canadian/French voices:

Isabelle "fr_ca"
Jean-Pierre "fr_ca"

Our documentation is not yet in sync with the current status of the voices available in the UK we have our tech writer working to resolve this IVR issue.
