Plum IVR Support

I am starting to convert an IVR application from an old DOS platform to Plum. I have been around IVR for a good while, but web development at the script level is less familiar to me.

There are some programs like PHPMagic that will generate applications written in PHP that can connect to MySQL databases.

To save time, is it possible &/or advisible to use a script generater like this & then use/tweak the resulting scripts to feed data back & forth to the vxml application?

We're not at all familiar with programs like PHPMagic, so we can't really speak to their possible usefulness. If we had to guess, such programs are likely geared toward building html web pages, which may make them somewhat less useful for IVR applications (but this is purely a guess).

PHP has fairly robust MySQL support, so you might want to poke around on their website a little bit as well.
