Recording "non-entered" numbers

We are using a dtmf only script. The script records the number called, the time called, the ANI, and in almost all cases, the single digit pressed by the caller.
We are presently on Bevocal but considering coming over to plum if we can address the following problem.
Presently, our system times out the caller after 10 seconds. If no number is pressed, and the system times out the caller, then a default entry is transmitted in place of a user pressed number. A database then converts that number to a message on our website.
However, the problem we need to correct is this: If NO number is entered by a user, but the user hangs up PRIOR to being forcefully disconnected, we still need a default value transmitted to our database.
Bevocal cannot do this.
Is this possible at plum?
