Plum IVR Support

What is the maximum prompt timeout value? I read in the documentation:
"The "timeout" global property can not be set higher than 60 seconds. "

Is it the same maximum if I use <prompt timeout="xxxx"> rather than the property?

(I noticed the minimum appears to be 1ms.)

Both the <prompt> timeout attribute and the global IVR timeout property share the same 60 second limit with the IVR system. What are the conditions under which you wish to use a longer timeout than one minute? That's a lot of silence.

I agree... a 'lot' of silence.

I guess there are odd requirements in every software industry; this is just one of those things.

That's okay though, we can get around the problem.
