Transfer

Post by nehioro »

I have a new client wants to have their customers to be able to transfer directly from our IVR to their customer service line for certain issues. No big deal, just transfer. Now, the issue I'm having is that we don't want to have to pay for the calls that get transferred to them because they could last quite a long time. Is there any easy way to track call duration post-transfer so we can have them reimburse us for their call costs?

Hi,

Yes, there is a way for you to track transfer times for your application by looking at the session logs for your calls. To do this:

1) Log into your hosting account.

2) Click on Call Logs -> Session Logs.

3) Within "Aggregate Session Logs", select a "Phone Number" and "Start" and "End" time of the logs you want to view.

4) Click on "View Log".

There, within the session logs, you'll see that there are specific logs that keep track of the transfer times for each call.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
