Trouble handling API fetch timeouts

Post by jparnell »

Hello,

I'm attempting to create a module that gracefully handles API call timeouts. I am using the "Rest" module, and I've linked the custom error module to a simple prompt that says "Error was encountered". However, when the API takes longer than X seconds (as defined in the application settings "Webservice Timeout"), it doesn't seem to execute the custom error module. Instead it simply hangs up the call. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for your question. This is a known bug that will be addressed and fixed in the next Fuse+ Platform Update, which is expected to be released early June. We do want to make sure this is related to the fix, so if you'd like to DM us the application name and some call examples, we'd be glad to double-check for you. Additionally we will let you know when the platform update is released so that you may retest!

Regards,
