IVR features

Post by support »

July has been a busy month for our engineering and sales staff. Here are some recent and upcoming items of interest:

Hosting Site Changes
*Plum will be transitioning its Speech Recognition from Sphinx to SpeechWorks on Monday July 25th, 2004. The transition should be a smooth (and hopefully transparent) migration of customers' IVR applications.
It is imperative that ALL of our hosting customers check and make sure their IVR grammars are still behaving properly and collecting inputs as expected.

*If you specify "length" or "maxlength" with the built-in digits grammar, the IVR platform will now listen for the specific number of digits and immediately go to the <filled> block rather than waiting for interdigittimeout to expire.

*The hosting site has gotten a major facelift, and all of our other IVR production servers have been merged together, so that customers using several of our IVR production systems have access to all of their dnis, logging, and statistic tracking resources under one interface.

Support Site:
* The underlying IVR software that comprises the forum has been updated to reflect a variety of bug fixes and security patches.

* Work is under way on the support site, and offer more features.

Sincerely,

Plum Support Staff
