Why doesn't <transfer> work with my PBX?

Post by support »

The Plum Voice Portal supports bridge on all systems, and supports blind transfers on most PBX systems. To find out if your system is supported, contact your Plum Sales Representitive.

A simple bridge transfer example:

Code: Select all

<transfer dest="12345678901" bridge="true">
  <prompt>
    You will now be transferred to 12345678901.
  </prompt>
</transfer>
If you are having trouble using bridge transfer with your system, confirm with your PBX engineer (or provider) that outbound dialing is enabled on the lines running to the Plum Voice Portal. In some cases PBX's require additional support from Plum to get outbound dialing working properly.
