Hi,
I am sending a text to callers and noticed that with US numbers the country code is not included in session.telephone.ani. Is this the case with international numbers as well? Can I expect international numbers to come with country code included, or is there some other part of the session.telephone object I can access to get that information.
Thanks,
Fivable

Re: details on session.telephone
Hello,
In general, ANI is not guaranteed and will be particularly unreliable for international inbound calls. For US based phone numbers, the caller ID does not include the country code. International calls will typically include their country code in the ANI when ANI is correctly transmitted. However, at this time Plum does not support sending SMS messages outside of the US, so it will not be possible for you to deliver a message to a caller with a non-US phone number. Let us know if you have any further questions.
