Answerphone detection in the uk

Hi there, are there any settings that we can change in order to tweak the answerphone detection algorithm for better performance on UK telephone systems? I realise answerphone detection is a difficult thing to do, but are there any tricks or settings we can do in order to improve our detection rate....

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for the tip, but i dont think its that. I've also tried using just a 'hello world' valid vxml file rather than the .aspx but its still not playing ball.

Thanks anyway Adrian, with a deadline looming, any help or support is greatly appreciated :D

Thanks Adrian for the number format. It's still not working though, driving me mad. I'm using a simple html form to test it <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.or...

Outbound not working?

Hi There We are using a hosted solution on the UK Plum platform and are currently trying to get the outbound api to dial numbers. We are able to get the system to cue and start calls via queuecall.php , but no calls are successfully placed, so we have a couple of questions. 1) What is the correct fo...

transfer events

Hi, I have a specific logic problem, and I'm wondering if anyone can assist in helping me work through it. My application transfers users to a call centre if they make an incorrect input. If the user hangs up BEFORE they speak to a call centre worker, an email is sent to the call centre with the cal...

Hi

Thanks for the suggestion.

I tried it but the platform doesnt attempt a transfer until my 'ringing.wav' has finished playing. Is there any way to have the transfer 'barge in' on my ringing.wav ?

Thanks again for the help

Ring when transfering?

When my application transfers a caller, no 'ringing out tone' is heard. It's just silence until the transfered call is answered. I'd like to let the caller hear a ringing out tone so that they dont think something has gone wrong and just abandon the call. Any ideas on how to achieve this. We are usi...

Sample sizes don't match encoding

I'm using a demo account to evaluate the plum platform but I'm not having any joy with getting wav files to play. I'm convinced my files are in the correct format 8x8, but they just will not play! Does anyone have any idea as to what the problem may be? This is the error in the log... File: m Sample...
