Outbound Calling Set up

Post by rahul.rai »

Hi Support,

we are planning to do some outbound call from our website during authentication mechanism and we like to use plum voice to do these calls.

Our Required steps are :

1 . When customer submit their query on website while registering for one of our services, we will call this customer on their respective phone numbers
2. we will ask them few security questions on confirm their true identity.
3. we would like to verify these details calling our own webservices.
4. if customer passes these security questions, we would like to send them success message and complete their registration process

Can you guys let me know what should be my starting point to start developing this service.
I have already set up my outbound call acccount and got login and PIN etc.

thanks,
Rahul

Hi Rahul,

To get started with this process, you can view our documentation, which will provide you with tutorials on how to get started with outbound calls and how to use each of the various tags.

Specifically, these sections will aid you with this process:

Outbound Developer's Guide (when placing your outbound calls): http://www.plumvoice.com/docs/dev/plumd ... nddevguide

Data Exchange (when verifying details by calling your web services): http://www.plumvoice.com/docs/dev/devel ... taexchange

Please let us know if you have any questions while developing your application. Also, if you require a developer solution for your project, you can reach out to your account representative and ask about developer hour packages.

Regards,
Plum Support
