I need to figure out a way to connect two users, calling from two different phones, to be on the line together, able to talk, and in addition be able to interact with an IVR session. I understand that either person could hit buttons to respond to the system, that's fine. I just can't figure out how to connect these people. They can both call in, or one can call in and the system could call the other person, if that helps.
Scott at Plum suggested utilizing bridge transfer, but i don't understand how i can use that to connect two and stay in a session.
Thanks,

IVR system supports bridge transfer
Hi Jim,
We do support bridge transfer, but this won't accomplish what you're trying to do, which is connect two users calling from two different phones to be on the line together, able to talk, and in addition be able to interact with an IVR session. This implementation is not possible.
While the transfer is in progress, neither user can interact with the IVR session. Once the transfer completes, the original calling party's IVR session continues.
