Hi
I need to input a postcode (UK format eg OX14 2HN) to a vxml application.
Is there any reliable grammar that can be used to implement this as a speech function, allowing the user to enter each character separately maybe?
Or is there any clever dtmf tricks, allowing the user to enter text.
Many thanks in advance.......tm

Alphanumeric data entry
IVR platform with Nuance OSR 3.0 improves speech recognition
Hello,
The current version of the Plum IVR platform does not do a very good job of performing speech recognition of alphanumeric data. However, we are currently testing a new version of our IVR platform combined with Nuance OSR 3.0 which has dramatically improved recognition rates. This release is expected to be out this summer. There will be a formal annoucement of the release of the new version of our IVR software on this forum. Paying customers will be given early access to the IVR platform for testing purposes before it is deployed.
Regards,
