how can I log to the plum linux box in a instance where I need to check a web server issue or issue of that nature. with the plum we bought , those information was not provided

log into the Plum IVR through the standard admin web UI

Please provide more information. You should be able to log into the Plum IVR through the standard administrative web UI.
