Outbound calling and firewall restrictions

Post by nsiram »

For making outbound calls to your webservice we have to provide a publicly accessible vxml for the startURL, the text file with phone numbers and a publicly accessible location for your web service to write back the results.

This will not work when we have firewall restrictions and for sensitive information which we do not wish to make accessible on publicly accessible location.

We would like to do a direct HTTP Post of the payload through a call to your webservice and get a response directly.

Please advice on how to perform this task.

custom IVR application to perform this task

Hi,

We support HTTPS for posting IVR outbound calls, which allows for security for sensitive information.
We would like to do a direct HTTP Post of the payload through a call to your webservice and get a response directly.
While we don't provide this for our outbound IVR hosting system, we can build a custom IVR application for you to perform this task.

For more information, please contact your sales representative.

Regards,
